This guide will help you install and configure the Drive By system on your FiveM server.
🛠 Step-by-Step Installation
🔹 Step 1: Choose a Script
Inside the "essentials" folder, you will find two options: (Essentials = Take over and EDA).
1️⃣ Take Over → Works with any vehicle on the server.
2️⃣ Gang Style → Only works with specific vehicles, which need to be configured in the layout.meta file.
This is what it would look after downloading it to your keymster.
➡️ Choose the one that best fits your server.
🔹 Step 2: Add to the "resources" Folder
Place the folder of the chosen script inside the "resources" folder of your server. Example with Gang Style. 👇
🔹 Step 3: Additional Configuration (Only for "Gang Style")
If you chose Gang Style, you need to add a vehicle pack. You can choose from:
✅ Vanilla Vehicle Pack. Available in the Keymaster at the time of purchasing the script! ✅ Add-On Vehicle Pack. Available in the Keymaster at the time of purchasing the script! ✅ Or both together.
📌 IMPORTANT (READ PLEASE) : If you're using the vehicle packs we provide through CFX, NO modifications are needed to the layout.meta file. These packs are already preconfigured and ready to use.
🔹 Step 4: Start the Server
🔸 Start Essentials First: - Before activating Drive By, make sure to start the essentials script (Take Over or Gang Style) first.
🔸 Server Restart Order:
1️⃣ Put in resources to the script (essentials), turn off the server. 2️⃣ Add the vehicle packs to the corresponding folder (if you’re using Gang Style or Take Over). 3️⃣ Restart the server to ensure the vehicles load correctly.

✔️ Ensure all script files are in the "resources" folder.
✔️ If using Gang Style, check that the layout.meta file is correctly configured with the vehicles.
